Hola a Tothom!

Em dic Dana i vinc de Barcelona on estudio Educació i Control Ambiental a l’institut d’ISBN i estaré un mes a Madeira d’Erasmus amb SPEA. Des de ben petita m’he considerat una amant dels animals, del mar i dels oceans.

Quan vaig tindre constància de l’oportunitat que teníem de viatjar a Madeira a fer un Erasmus, no vaig dubtar pas a vindre, ja que tenia tot el que m’interessava: conèixer un lloc totalment nou amb l’oportunitat d’aprendre un nou idioma, ajudar a animals, gaudir del mar…

Espero aprendre molt sobre les aus marines, aprendre més sobre el camp de control i com s'executen les diverses tasques per
fer-ho possible, com aprendre a posar geolocalitzadors o utilitzar el mètode captura i recaptura, en general aprendre molt d’SPEA i de la seva gent. I sobretot, connectar més amb la natura i gaudir de la muntanya, i qui sap potser perdre una mica més la por a les altures.

Estic molt agraïda i molt emocionada per aquesta oportunitat, que sé que la gaudiré molt, comença aquesta gran aventura!

Hello everyone!

My name is Dana, and I'm from Barcelona, where I study education and environmental control at the ISBN institute, and I will be in Madeira for a month on Erasmus with SPEA. From a very young age, I have considered myself a lover of the animals, the sea, and the oceans. 

When I found out about the opportunity to do an Erasmus in Madeira, I didn't hesitate to come since it had everything I was interested in, like getting to know a completely new place with the opportunity to learn a new language, helping animals, enjoying the sea... 

I hope to learn a lot about seabirds, the control field, and how the different tasks are carried out to make it possible, like learning how to put in GPS or use the catch-and-recapture method. In general, learn a lot from SPEA and its people. And above all, connect more with nature and enjoy the mountains, and who knows, maybe lose a little more fear of heights.

I am very grateful and so excited about this opportunity, which I know I will enjoy very much, the adventure begins now!
