Nascido em Agrigento, licenciou-se em Biodiversidade e Evolução Animal (Msc.), na Universidade de Palermo. Desde a infância que nutre um elevado interesse pela ornitologia, particularmente pelo canto das aves. Durante a sua tese desenvolveu um projecto de monitorização de avifauna da Reserva Natural do Mont Pelegrino (Palermo).
Vive no Funchal desde Fevereiro de 2010 e, graças ao Programa SVE, sente-se feliz por se juntar à equipa e às actividades da SPEA-Madeira.
He was born in Agrigento, and is graduated in Biodiversity and Animal Evolution (Msc.) at University of Palermo. Since his childhood, he has a great passion for ornithology, and especially for the studies about the birdsong. In his thesis worked on a field study about a monitoring project of the avifauna at the nature reserve of Mount Pellegrino (Palermo). He lives in Funchal from February 2010, and he feels very lucky to join to the Spea-Madeira and their interesting activities about birds conservation, thanks to the EVS project.
