On Wednesday and Thursday I came back to Porto Santo Island as I joined the usual boat trip for counting seabirds. Thus, I visited the island for the second time. During this season there are a lot of people in the town centre, so I saw a lot of Italians, too. I didn't know there was the flight Milan – Porto Santo, that's the reason why Porto Santo was full of Italian families. But I'd like to tell you something of cool. You can imagine an ice-cream shop as a bar where you can choose your favourite ice-cream taste between lots of flavours. That's true, but in Porto Santo it's different. First of all, when I arrived next to the ice-cream parlour, I saw many people waiting for their turn, everybody in a single file. But something stranger was that you can choose your ice-cream between only four tastes, and these ones are so changeable. For example, while you're waiting for your turn thinking about a chocolate ice-cream, then you'll not sure that you can find any chocolate when it's your turn. Indeed there are only four small ice-cream machines, so when a taste is finished, it's replaced by another one, to guarantee a larger flavours' choice.
I like so much Porto Santo, see you soon!
