Na semana passada estive três dias no Porto Santo fazendo
censos de aves no aeroporto. É a segunda vez que tive a oportunidade de visitar a ilha. Devido
à mudança de horário, há mais horas de sol e portanto, mais horas de observação.
Pude ver gaivotas, pombos, francelhos, canarios, garças... e a minha ave
favorita, a poupa!
Desta vez, o tempo estava muito melhor. Não pude mergulhar
mas fiz um agradável passeio na praia.
Last week I
was in Porto Santo for 3 days doing bird censuses in the airport. It is the
second time I had the opportunity to visit the island. Now, we have an extra
hour of sun and that means more hours of observation. I could see seagulls,
pigeons, kestrels, canaries, herons... and my favorite, the hoopoe!
This time the weather was better. I could not
swim but I could take a nice walk on the beach.
