Dia RAM

The RAM day is a network of observation of birds and marine mammals that began in the coasts of the Cantabrian and Galicia and after this beginning it extended to the Iberian Peninsula, including the Portuguese coast and the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores. The species that can more easily be observed are the yellow-legged gull and the Cory's shearwater, although other species such as the Tern or the Balearic shearwater are also seen.

^{This project aims to coordinate data collection throughout the Atlantic coast by volunteer observers who enjoy the study of seabirds and in this way improve knowledge and conservation of Atlantic seabird species. An important feature of these censuses is the use of a standard methodology for the collection of information, that is, the simultaneously observation allows systematic and rigorous information to be obtained and an idea of ​​the abundance and movements of seabirds In coastal waters, in different geographic areas and in different months.}

As espécies mais facilmente ser visto são o gaivota de patas amarelas e Cagarra, embora outras espécies, tais como Garajao e o Patagarro também são vistos.}

^{Este projecto tem como objectivo coordenar a coleta de dados em toda a costa atlântica por observadores voluntários que apreciam o estudo de aves marinhas e, assim, melhorar o conhecimento e conservação das espécies de aves marinhas do Atlântico.
